Privacy policy

The short version

• We collect your name, email, phone and address to fill your order and contact you about it.
• Payments go through Square. We never see or store your full card number.
• We don’t sell, rent or trade your information, and we don’t run ad trackers.
• Your cart is saved in your own browser, not on our servers.

What we collect

When you place an order

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your shipping address, and billing address if it’s different
• What you ordered, the shipping option you chose, and any discount code you used
• Payment details, which are entered into Square’s secure payment form and handled by Square (see Payments)

When you send us a message

The name, email address and message you enter in our contact form. These are emailed to the shop so we can reply.

Automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse (for example, limiting repeated checkout attempts).

How we use it

• To process, make, ship and track your order, and handle returns or refunds
• To answer your messages and questions about your order
• To calculate shipping and any sales tax that applies
• To prevent fraud, spam and abuse of the site
• To keep the records that tax and accounting laws require

We don’t send marketing emails unless you’ve asked to hear from us, and you can opt out of any we send.

Payments

All payments are processed by Square. When you pay by card, Google Pay or Cash App Pay, your payment details go straight to Square through their secure form. We never see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of the payment, plus basic details like the card brand and last four digits. Square may use extra verification (like 3-D Secure) to protect you from fraud.

Your order (items, name, contact details and addresses) is stored in our Square account, which is how we run the shop.

Services we use

We share information only with the services that help us run the shop:

• Square: payments, orders and our product catalog.
• Cloudflare: hosts the website, delivers contact-form email, and runs Turnstile, a privacy-friendly bot check on checkout and the contact form that doesn’t ask you to solve puzzles.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics (when enabled): counts page visits without cookies and without tracking you across other sites.
• USPS: receives your name and address so it can deliver your order.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

Cookies & browser storage

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. The site uses your browser’s own storage for a few helpful things:

• Your cart is saved in your browser’s local storage so it’s still there when you come back. It never leaves your device until you check out.
• Checkout progress (like the address you’ve typed) is saved in session storage so a page refresh doesn’t lose it. It’s cleared when you close the tab. Card details are never saved.
• Square and Cloudflare Turnstile may set their own cookies or similar data that they need for security and fraud prevention while you pay or submit a form.

You can clear this data at any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to run the shop and meet tax and accounting requirements (usually several years). Contact-form messages are kept in our email for as long as they’re useful for helping you.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We may need to keep some order records the law requires. Just send us a message from the email address you used, and we’ll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws. We’ll honor them.

Children

Our shop is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
